YMCA of Greater Seattle Volunteer Opportunites

VOLUNTEER IN JAPAN

The YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking energetic, compassionate people (18+) with Japanese language skills, cultural competency and a willingness to do whatever is asked. You will be part of a team of 4-6 volunteers who will travel to Japan and serve in YMCA Japan Relief work for one week or more. Activities will include but are not limited to helping people clean out and mend their homes, recreational and therapeutic activities for children and assistance at evacuation centers. Volunteers must be current on their tetanus vaccination and complete a background check and other Y training.
